A labial salivary gland biopsy showed the replacement of normal parenchyma with granulomas. There was no scarring and no ductal dilatation. This biopsy suggests:
 
  a. Necrotizing sialometaplasia
  b. Salivary lymphoepithelial lesion
  c. Mucous extravasation phenomenon
  d. Mucous retention cyst
  e. Sarcoidosis
