The hearing-impaired client who uses a hearing aid tells his nurse that he keeps getting "pimples" in the ear into which he places the earpiece. The nurse should instruct him to:
A.   “Alternate the ear into which you place the earpiece.”
B.   “Find another way to communicate, because you must be allergic to the hearing aid.”
C.   “Clean the earpiece with mild soap and water but avoid excessive wetting of the device.”
D.   “Avoid using hair spray, cosmetics, oils, or other hair and face products that might come into contact with the receiver.”
