A 35-year-old woman was in ABC Hospital psychiatric ward last week after trying to commit suicide. She was released today and wants her complete medical record. As the HIM Manager how do you respond?

You first have the patient complete a mental health release of information. You find out what she intends to use the information for and has their psychiatrist sign off on what pieces of the record she can view.
