An individual has 3 copies of
chromosome 13.
An error in what stage in gamete
formation could produce this?
A. Interphase
B. Prophase I and II
C. Metaphase I and II
D. Anaphase I and II
E. Prometaphase I and II
If someone could explain this to me it would be much appreciated!

Anaphase is when the chromosomes are pulled apart. It's likely that during this phase, the homologous chromosomes that were paired at the metaphase plate weren't pulled apart equally.
