2. Incorrect. During the first 3 months formula-fed infants consume more energy than breastfed infants and therefore tend to grow more rapidly.
3. Correct. Human milk contains only small amounts of vitamin D.
4. Incorrect. Vitamin K shots are required of all infants because the bacteria that produce it are absent from the baby's stomach at birth.
