Feedback
A The woman should be encouraged to ambulate early.
B With pain medications, trauma to the area, and anesthesia, the sensation of a full
bladder may be decreased. She needs to be encouraged to void frequently.
C Adequate fluid intake of 2500 to 3000 ml/day prevents urinary stasis, dilutes
urine, and flushes out waste products.
D Juices such as cranberry juice can discourage bacterial growth.
