An increasing head circumference, widening sutures, and irritability are manifestations of increased intracranial pressure. Other manifestations of increased intracranial pressure include lethargy, poor feeding, poor sucking, spasms of the head and feet, setting sun sign, decreased level of consciousness, high-pitched shrill cry, and bulging anterior fontanel.
