Is it appropriate for a company such as Mitsubishi, with a history of sexual harassment, to now promote its diversity efforts?

Yes. If the company has made strides in diversity, it should communicate those
changes to all stakeholders. It should want stakeholders to have an accurate
picture of the company. However, this has to be a sincere effort. Because of the
company's history, all claims will now be closely scrutinized. Half-hearted or
insincere efforts could wind up doing more damage to the company's reputation
than good.
