(A causes B can mean that B occurs given that A occurs. That is called cause as sufficient
condition. A causes B can mean that A is necessary for B to occur; that is, if B occurs, then A is
present. And A causes B can mean that A increases the likelihood that B will occur: A is a partial
cause of B.)
