Hi

I have problems urinating which seem to be partly due to a slightly enlarged prostate and partly due to the overproduction of urine. I have done some research into this and have found the following information: In order to treat the overproduction of urine, it seems that I need to take antidiuretics and avoid diuretics. However, it seems that most, if not all treatments for an enlarged prostate are diuretics and it seems that antidiuretics can agrevate enlarged prostates. This seems to be a somewhat contradictory situation. What is my best course of action?

Thank you very much.

My father has this same problem. He would urinate more times in the day because his prostate was pressing against his bladder. The doctor prescribed Flowmax, and now he urinates less during the day.
