One key distinction between the 1905 and 1908 Binet-Simon intelligence scales was that

a) the 1908 scale included fewer very easy items and more difficult items.
b) the 1908 scale dropped a test requiring examinees to detect and explain absurdities.
c) the 1908 scale was about half the length of the 1905 scale.
d) the concept of mental level, included in the 1905 test, was dropped for the 1908 test.
