When someone constructs a rationale for change, he or she:
 
  a. has a compelling reason to change a perspective, behavior, or situation.
  b. has a compelling explanation for why they are experiencing problems.
  c. identified the list of factors that need to be changed.
  d. identified the reasons why the problem won't improve on its own.
