Tumors that arise from or form ductal or glandular structures are named adenocarcinomas. Can-cers arising in epithelial tissue are called carcinomas; mesenchymal tissue (including connective tissue, muscle, and bone) usually have the suffix sarcoma; lymphatic tissue are called lymphomas.
