What would Lyndon B. Johnson most likely think above the use of affirmative action in college admissions today?
   a.   Affirmative action violates the principle of equal rights since it involves reverse discrimination against white applicants.
   b.   Affirmative action may have been justified in the 1950’s but it is no longer justified since blacks have now achieved equal economic status with whites
   c.   Affirmative action is morally required as reparation but only for those applicants whose parents  were former slaves and who were forced to endure the oppression of slavery.
   d.   Affirmative action is morally acceptable, and perhaps even required, since blacks have been unjustly burdened by past injustices and present injustice.
