How does the green leaf get its nutrients?

It obtains its nutrients from the soil. The roots collect various minerals and allocates them to leaves.

3 sections that make up the leaf is the palisade mesophyll, spongy mesophyl and the stomata (guard cells). Ultimately, palisade mesophyll is where photosynthesis happens (you get sugar), spongy mesophyl is where gas exchange happens( where essential nutrients and elements are acquired)
