Would it be easier [i.e., would it require less rocket fuel] to lift a rocket off the moon's surface or off Earth's surface, and why?

A) It would be equally difficult, because the rocket's mass would be the same on the moon as on Earth.
B) It would be impossible for the rocket to lift off of the moon, because there is no air on the moon.
C) It would be easier on the moon, because the rocket's weight would be less on the moon than it is on Earth.
D) It would be equally difficult, because the rocket's weight would be the same on the moon as on Earth.
E) It would be easier on the moon, because the rocket's mass would be less on the moon than it is on Earth.
