In the future, astronauts may grow crops on the International Space Station. What conditions should they create in order to reduce photorespiration?

Hi, under high light and high heat, the enzyme (RUBISCO) that grabs carbon dioxide for photosynthesis may grab oxygen instead, causing repiration to occur instead of photosynthesis, thus causing a slowing of the production of sugars from photosynthesis.

So, to prevent this, you'd have to control the light and the climate of the planet somehow, make sense?
