Explain in detail how the glycerol component of a tricylgycerol (triglyceride) molecule is responsible for the generation of 19 ATP?

You'll need to know how many acetyl-CoA can be obtained from glycerol. I'd imagine it's 1 because glycerol gets converted into pyruvate, which later becomes acetyl-Coa.







Once the acetyl-Coa is made, it goes into the citric acid cycle
