Based on the position of the continents in Earths history, you would expect the organisms of Australia to be more closely related to those of:
  1.Europe
  2.Asia
  3.North America
  4.South America

  1.Fossils found at point A are similar to those found at point B.
  2.The rock formations of region B are much more recent than those of region C.
  3.The rock layers and life forms found within are older as you move from layer D to layer A.
  4.There are no generalizations to make. You have to carbon date everything regardless of what layer the fossil is found in.
