A) No; the audience is attending the speech to learn something new, which has no effect on the information being shared.
B) Yes; it is polite for a speaker to consider who they will be speaking to, even if the audience has nothing to do with the topic.
C) Yes; considering the audience as intelligent as the speaker will help the speaker not have to change their speech too much when creating it.
D) Yes; the audience’s needs, interests, expectations, and knowledge need to be considered when developing a speech or else the speaker runs the risk of losing them.
