What might result from a speaker properly referring to recent events in their introduction?
A) The speaker will have to do less research because there will be a large amount of information available on the topic.
B) The audience will see the speaker as less credible because the topic is too new to be considered established fact.
C) The audience will perceive the speaker as knowledgeable about current affairs.
D) The speaker will not have to write an introduction since referring to the event will be more than enough to establish the speech’s main ideas.
