One problem with the polygraph test is that people who are innocent may fail the test, a situation called a false positive. When this happens, some experts (or polygraph technicians) may assume that the individual is, in fact, guilty but simply wont admit to their guilt. In this case, the inaccuracy of the polygraph test is no longer possible to demonstrate, and this is a problem that involves which principle of critical thinking?
A) falsifiability
B) Occams Razor
C) extraordinary claims
D) correlation vs. causation
