After brainstorming and generating a list of possible main points, the next thing to do when organizing your speech is to  
a.divide each point into subpoints you can explain.
b.transfer each point to your outline.
c.word each point so it does not repeat or overlap other points.  
d.eliminate the points that are least important to your thesis.
