Don't think that way, the purpose of the site is to help with h/w. Next time, post your math questions too, that's my expertise.

Yeah, that's what I meant, forgot to write 10-3...

So:

a.bcdef
0.00879

Just double-checked my calculation, I'm 100% certain that's the correct answer for x -- I subbed it back into the equation and found the left side = right side. Any other questions, let us know

Could be an error on their part; the math checks out. Let me know what your instructor writes, it's important that we know moving forward 😥

I noticed something wrong about your screenshot actually. Look at 4.35, it should be (4.35 + x), but they removed the x only because the equilibrium constant is so small. Technically you're NOT supposed to do that. I stand by my answer, it's MORE accurate than the one shown. You should fight it dude.

Thanks man, It was him that sent me that screenshot at the end. I wrote to him exactly what you just told me so we'll see 😬he's pretty strict because I once used a different IUPAC name he still marked it wrong in Organic Chemistry. Fingers crossed.

If he's an actual chemistry teacher, he'll agree with us.
