For (a), take the derivative of displacement to get the function for velocity.

f'(t) = 12t2 + 2

For (b), set t in the equation above to 3.

f'(3) = 12(3)2 + 2
f'(3) = 110

For (c), the acceleration function is the derivative of the velocity function.

f''(t) = 24t

For (d), substitute 3 into t.

f''(t) = 24(3) = 72
