A company's marginal cost function is \(\frac{11}{\sqrt{x}}\) where x is the number of units.

Find the total cost of the first 64 units (from x=0 to x=64)

For this, we need to integrate between 0 and 64.

\(\int _0^{64}\ \frac{11}{\sqrt{x}}dx\)

\(22\sqrt{x}+c\)

Now we set 64 into x and take away x = 0:

\(\left(22\sqrt{64}\right)-22\sqrt{0}\)
