Consider the following two problems.
(a) A random-number generator yields numbers in a uniform distribution between 0 and 1 with a mean of 0.5 and a standard deviation of 0.289. You wish to find the probability that the mean of a sample of 50 random numbers is greater than 0.6.
(b) Scores on an aptitude test are normally distributed with a mean of 82 and a standard deviation of 11. You wish to find the probability that the score for a randomly selected person is greater than 90.

Which of these two problems requires application of the Central Limit Theorem? Explain your reasoning.
