What would happen if a negative-feedback mechanism did not return the value of some parameter,such as blood pressure, to its normal range?

Hi Carol,

Without a negative feedback mechanism, homeostasis would not be achieved in a person with high blood pressure. Their high blood pressure would not be regulated, leading to diabetes, stroke, aneurysm and heart attack.
