Do you feel it is useful to add a new feature for charging mobile phone devices using the microsoft  surface docking station by also working as a power bank device?

Can this be achieved by modifying the hardware electronics of the microsoft surface docking station ?

Thanks & Regards,

You mean a device that'd connect to your phone, which allows for the connection of USB 2.0 devices?

Thanks.

I mean the Microsoft surface docking station unit can also work as a power bank for providing power to Mobile phone devices. It will have output port/s for charging Mobile phone devices.

Thanks & Regards,

Just connect a USB cable to it, and it'll charge your phone.

If it is plugged in, it can be used to charge your phones. Therefore, not necessarily a standalone powerbank.
