Let's say a genetically short man starts taking growth hormone at 7 (pre-puberty) and stops at 22 (sexualy mature) achieving an average height, will his offspring inherit the height factor (provided the mother is a naturally average height person) or will they too need the growth therapy?
I know there's a lot of external factors to my example, but a more direct answer would be appreciated.
In case of the answer being "no the height acquired is not inherited by the offspring", my question would be: Are there others (if any) phenotypic traits acquired pre/during puberty that can be passed to your genetic descendants?
