Hi everyone,

I am searching for evidence about the following question:

Does good weather (or high temperature) affect more people that are optimists compared to people that are pessimists? Or are all people affected the same way by weather.

I believe that better weather should have a larger impact on people that have a positive outlook in life.

TIA

That's an interesting question. I found a few studies that should help guide your search:

Effects of light on human circadian rhythms, sleep and mood:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6751071/

Season and Weather Effects on Travel-Related Mood and Travel Satisfaction:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5292578/

Weather and Health Symptoms:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6122079/

And one more:

The Neural Basis of Optimism and Pessimism

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3807005/

Pessimistic thoughts are stained with fear and stress.

This part I found interesting because unpleasant forecasts do create stress and fear, depending on the situation. Make sure you have a read on that part in particular.
