Answers may vary, but should contain the following for full credit:
All paraphilias involve recurrent and intense sexual arousal derived from some situation, behavior, object, or person. In sexual sadism disorder that arousal comes from inflicting physical or psychological suffering on another person, whereas in sexual masochism disorder the arousal results from being humiliated, degraded, beaten, bound, or otherwise made to suffer. In exhibitionistic disorder arousal results from exposing one's genitals to an unsuspecting person, whereas in voyeuristic disorder arousal comes from observing an unsuspecting person who is naked, in the process of disrobing, or engaging in sexual activity.
