Hello, does anyone now where does the insect Gyrinus live? And how did je adapt his legs to this palce?
Also I need to describe this photo, so Im thankfull for any suggestions and replies!:)

These are called whirligig beetles. It is a type of water beetle. Here's some useful information on them: https://biology-forums.com/definitions/Whirligig_Beetle

The middle, and more especially the hind legs are adapted for swimming (natatory): they are greatly flattened and fringed with bristles that fold to aid swimming action. In contrast the front legs are long and adapted for grasping food or prey. In males the front tarsi (see image) have suckers, which are used to hold onto the slippery female during mating. The tarsus is also found in the image you provided.
