From the passage linked in the course module, read the first and second khandas of the sixth prapathanka for context, then scroll down and read khandas  9-13. How might one interpret this passage? What does it say about the nature of the universe, and the relationship of individuals to it?

Post a response of at least one small paragraph.

The passage tells us about a father and son, where the father is educating his son and teaching him the value of water and food. We are nothing without these essentials. A man can see, hear, perceive, think, act, and understand only through the consumption of food and water. Water is one of the most important resources in our life, it is said that if you meditate in water, you are granted all your wishes. Fire is another resource we need and when we meditate on it, we are full of light and free of darkness. Space and memory are also important things in this passage, and it is said that when we meditate, we become more enlightened. The nature of the universe was made through Brahman, he sends the Ganga river to Earth and lord Shiva stops the river from drowning the earth. It is also said that the Milky way is a reflection of water. We are all connected through the universe and the universe is an endless beauty.
