Differentiate the given functions and find its slope

1. \(y^2=2x+1\), at (1,3)
2. \(𝑥^2=𝑦−3\), at (1,4)

Btw. For question 2, should I solve for it by using the value of y and transposing -3 to the right side or should I just solve it directly by using x and square rooting it?

For number 2, transpose the constant (-3) to the left, and differentiate. It's much easier than the first. If you can't figure it out, reply back and I will show you the steps.
