An instructor’s records show a 0.956 correlation between grades and attendance. If the correlation implies causality, what might this imply?


The instructor could get away with giving grades based solely on attendance.



Effort should be expended to make sure all students attend all classes.



There should be many questions on exams that can be answered only if the student attends class.
