JJ Convenience Store is thinking about leasing a soft ice-cream machine. The cost of the machine is $1,000 per month and the cost of each ice-cream cone will be $1.30. They plan on selling the ice-cream cones for $2.50 each. a) To just break even for a six-month period, how many ice-cream cones must be sold? b) How many fewer ice-cream cones would have to be sold per six-month period to break-even their selling price is $3.00 each?
