Hi everyone, I had a quick question (it was on my test but I don't know if I got it right or wrong because my teacher hasn't marked it yet and I would like to know what I didn't get).

Body temperature in endotherms is generally maintained within a narrow range. Describe four situations where this is not the case. Give an example of each.

1-Hypothermia- When the body's temperature is below the normal temperature
2-Fever- When the body's temperature is above the normal temperature.
3-?
4-?

I didn't really know what to put for examples asides from what they already are.

Fever – when body temp is raised above normal levels, often in an attempt to kill an invading bacteria/virus. Your body will sweat, and the evaporation of that sweat causes cooling. Also your blood vessels close to your skin will dilate to bring more blood close to the skin surface where it will cool better. As a result you become flushed.
