A Hohmann orbit would have a perihelion of 1 AU and an aphelion of 4 AU. Thus the semimajor axis is 2.5 AU [ (1+4)/2 ]. From there use Kepler's third law: a^3 = p^2 where a is the semimajor axis and p is the period.

So like this?

(p)^2 = a^3
period = (2.5)^(3/2). ??

Isn't that kepler's 2nd law?
