European Environment Commissioner Margot Wallstrom was screened in 2003 for 77 toxins including POPs. “I had 28 in my body, including PCB and DDT,” she said. “I was told that my result was below the average of the group tested.”  Do you think health-care providers should include POPs screening for the entire population? Why or why not?

What is the role of health care? Is it prevention? Or health maintenance? Should all such tests be covered by insurance in the United States?
