Drug treatment (including family-based treatment) for incarcerated parents during and after incarceration.  Alternatives to incarceration for parents convicted of nonviolent drug offenses.  Supportive programming for children of incarcerated parents.  Early release for certain elderly prisoners convicted of nonviolent offenses.  Reentry research through research awards to study parole and post-supervision revocation and related community safety issues.
