Given . H º = 155.7 kJ . S º =171.4 J/K

i. Predict how . G º value for the reaction varies with increasing temperature.

ii. Calculate . G º at 800 K, assuming the . H º and . S º do not change with temperature.

iii. Under standard conditions, is the reaction spontaneous at 800 K? Why?

G = H - TS is the equation to use for part i and ii. For iii, use 800K and calculate G - if it's negative, it is spontaneous.
G is the Gibbs free energy of the system.
