Yes, get your Master's degree. The way things are right now, jobs that require only a Bachelor's are being taken by those with M.S. and jobs that take a high school diploma are filled by B.S. There is a lot of competition for jobs in biology, especially anything that deals with animals. I've come across many people with bio degrees that work in other industries like computers and accounting, simply because they were not competitive enough to land those precious few jobs. You have to have at least a M.S. to do independent research, though most biologists have a PhD.
