HI friends, i ve seen in capacitor bank circuit consist of 6 capacitors. each capacitor of 1200 micro farad , 400v.  they given that discharge current is approx 167 amps for each capacitor. so that 1000A if connected in parallel.
i need that how they get 167A for a capacitor.

(i am doing a calculation for my project. since i don't how to get current, i can't finish my calculation)

For an ideal capacitor, there is no current limit. However, there are several reasons why the capacitor current might be limited:
1) Load impedance - the test load impedance may limit the current.
2) Internal resistance - all capacitors have internal resistance that would limit current.
3) Current rating - the internal connections from capacitor plates to mounting leads may only be rated at 167A.

Contact the capacitor manufacturer if you need more detailed specifications of the part or testing methods.
