In protein synthesis, there are sites of the tRNA. Why are they named the P Site and A Site?

tRNA has two binding sites on the ribosome first one is A-site (aninoacyl -tRNA binding site), and second one is P-site (peptidyl-tRNA binding site)
these are the binding amino acids
