Very hard to answer a question like this. For example, take carbohydrates. There are many different types - complex carbohydrates, simple carbohydrates, etc. If you consume a can of pop, the sugar will quickly be taken into your blood stream because they use fructose, glucose sugar - monosaccharides. This type of sugar requires no digestion at all, as it is easily absorbed. A complex carbohydrate like starch would take longer, even sugar found in whole fruits.

Digestion time varies between individuals and between men and women. After you eat, it takes about six to eight hours for food to pass through your stomach and small intestine. Food then enters your large intestine (colon) for further digestion, absorption of water and, finally, elimination of undigested food.
