I'm not sure how to work out punnet squares, but I know that such a mother is a carrier. Since she can provide her sons with either a healthy or a mutated X-chromosome, she can have sons with either normal blood clotting, or a haemophiliac son. The answer is D, since both A and b are correct.

D is the right answer.  If the mom is a carrier, she can either provide the son with a normal allele or the recessive trait allele.  A male only has one X chromosome, so whatever the mother gives him is what he gets.  The father can only provide a son with a Y, so he has no bearing on x-linked traits here.  Your bottom punnet square has the right set up.  (But the father is obviously providing a Y in order to have a son).
