During the sixth step, each 3-phosphoglycerate becomes oxidized by a NAD+.  However, in my textbook, it states that it forms a NADH + H.  I know a hydrogen comes off the 3-phosphoglycerate molecule and attches itself to the NAD+ to form NADH.  However, my question is, where does the other Hydrogen atom come from?

Thanks!

The +H after the NADH is simply notation Slight Smile Indicating that it is now reduced.
