Technician A says that the torque available at the output shaft is greater in second gear than when the transmission/transaxle is in third gear at the same engine speed. Technician B says that the output shaft is rotating faster when the transmission/transaxle is in second gear compared to third gear when the engine is at the same speed. Which technician is correct?
