Calculate the frequencies of the alleles and the frequencies of the genotypes in a population of 100,000 rabbits, of which 25,000 are white and 75,000 are agouti. White is recessive and agouti is dominant.

Use p + q= 1 and p^2 + 2pq + q^2= 1 with p being the dominant allele and q being the recessive allele. If there are 25,000 white rabbits out of 100,000, 25% or .25 are white so q= .25. p must be .75 since (75,000/100,000= .75 or 1-.25= .75. Now plug these numbers into the second equation to get genotype frequencies. You already know 25% are recessive/recessive. 75% are agouti so this consists of both heterozygotes and homozygous dominants. .75^2= the frequency of homozygous dominant. 2*.75*.25= the frequency of heterozygotes. Hope this helps!
